INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF PLACENTA ASSOCIATIONS/IFPA 2008
The theme of the IFPA Meeting 2008 / 12th EPG Conference is "Placenta – Established hypotheses and current concepts”. This title reflects the fact that the last decade has seen an enormous input from researchers and clinicians on proving established hypotheses and generating new concepts, some of them even disproving old hypotheses.
This meeting aims to provide a comprehensive platform for new ideas, exciting presentations and inspiring discussions on a wide range of basic and applied research topics. This will be achieved in the exciting atmosphere of Seggau castle with its isolated location on top of a hill - and a great view of southern Styria. Special attention will be given to the young (of age and heart) and new investigators, giving them a lot of time, a large audience and low registration fees.
